G-Startup at GMIC Tokyo Announces the Top 25 Startups and Judges

The G-Startup Worldwide at GMIC Tokyo evaluators have completed their first round of review of startup applications and we are excited to announce the G-Startup Worldwide Tokyo Top 25. We received 228 applications from 52 countries for this startup competitionThe classic tech hubs in Silicon Valley, Tel Aviv, and Beijing were well represented but we also received a large number of high quality applications from India, Brazil, and Nigeria! It is very impressive to see the innovative technologies coming out of these emerging markets and we expect to see this trend continue. The evaluators have rated each startup on the basis of traction, team, industry and product.

Dyme – Actively builds responsible spending and savings habits.
ST Booking – An innovative B2B2C marketplace for educational consultants and travel agents targeting Japan-based education-related services.
POLYGLOTS – Uber for language learning
KriskCo – Disrupting the credit score for businesses and become the standard for SME’s credit score.
evalu.run -The world’s first mobile AI running coach that brings ease into running.
Location Hunter – AirBNB for events and weddings.
BethClip – Cloud based multi platform clipboard/data sharing productivity tool/service.
Solidface Technology – Allowing designers and engineers span multiple disciplines with ease, shortening the design cycle, & increasing ROI.
TravelFlan – A text-based Artificial Intelligent Travel Concierge Service.
Favorr.io – App developers receive quality reviews from fellow app developers.
Pulzze Systems, Inc. – Producing IoT Infrastructure products that makee it possible for any connected devices and systems (“Things”) to work with each other without coding.
Pzartech – 3D printing service that enables manufacturers to provide spare parts to their customers.
Blincam – Wearable camera which attaches to any pair of eyeglasses.
Zenodys is a unique end-to-end visual IoT platform that allows the industry to easily connect hardware and software without writing a single line of code, while getting actionable data through a visual interface.
Splitty is a booking platform that detects and offers its users significantly reduced prices for hotel deals.
Playlyfe Helping companies improve employee engagement rates, eventually reducing employee attrition and increase productivity with the help of it’s products.
ItsMeSee Fashion Technology – Using a computer gaming engine as platform and not purely a web browser, we significantly redefine the online fashion experience.
SPARE. – We kill the ATM and enable merchants cash dispensing revenue.

Famarry – Helps realize customers’ ideal photo shoot for them to be able to book photo shooting in any area around the world.
toor – Lets anyone utilize big data without data scientist.
SolarChange – Technological platform based on Blockchain technology that incentives and enhances the use of solar energy.
InnaMed – The gateway to personal health with our home device that measures, tracks, and gives guidance about your major health indicators.
Aquabit Spirals Inc. – Programmable ‘Physical Bookmark’ which delivers varied digital content to your smartphones in a micro-moment, from physical things or places.
Yamzu – Bridging the gap between amateur and professional gamers, by giving amateurs an opportunity to not just play against each other, but to enter tournaments with real cash prizes.
Rotor – Enables people to create great music videos in just a few clicks.

Eight of the above startups will be chosen by our evaluators to pitch to our world famous venture capitalist judges (pictured below) at G-Startup Worldwide at GMIC Tokyo on July 15. We will announce the eight startups on our Facebook page on Friday, June 24th.

The 8 chosen startups (to be announced on Friday) will be accepted to Google Developers Launchpad Program. Then the top 3 chosen by the judges at GMIC Tokyo will receive a membership in G-Network, our global, invite only, tech leader community. Second place will receive a $20,000 investment prize. First place will receive a $50,000 investment prize and a trip to Silicon Valley to compete at the G-Startup Worldwide Global Finals in September for an additional $250,000 investment prize! After the finals they will be able to attend a 3 day bootcamp at Google’s headquarters!
