2017 is off to an amazing start as we kickoff the global road trip. G-Startup is building on the huge success of 2016 to ensure 2017 will be MAJOR! We started with a vision to launch and support the best global startups through our influential network and GMIC conferences. We never dreamed that our G-Startup Worldwide alumni would go on to raise $11.6 billion! Each day, we add value to our founders by introducing them to leading investors and technology executives from around the world.
Hans Tung, Midas List VC with GGV Capital and an early-stage investor in both the US and China (Xiaomi, Airbnb, Wish, Misfit, Music.ly, etc.) has been a part of GMIC and G-Startup year over year because of our “ability to pull together executives, founders and investors from all around the world. And now with an early-stage fund and co-investing alongside seasoned VC’s in each market, it only makes sense.”
More investors are joining forces with us! G-Startup Worldwide has partnered with 500 Startups to find high potential startups at GMIC Beijing and to invest at least $100,000 into the first place winner ($50k from our GWC Innovator Fund and $50k from 500 Startups)!
