Top Ten Startups Selected to Pitch at G-Startup Worldwide at GMIC Sao Paulo

The G-Startup Worldwide at GMIC Sao Paul evaluators have completed the final round of review of startup applications and we are excited to announce the G-Startup Worldwide at GMIC Sao Paulo Top 10. We received 182 applications from 23 countries for this startup competition. The classic tech hubs in Silicon Valley, Sao Paulo, and Beijing were well represented but we also received a large number of high quality applications from Ghana, Azerbaijan, and Bangalore!

Qranio – A mobile learning platform that uses gamification to reward learning and motivate users to engage with educational content
QueroQuitar – Platform that facilitate the trading of debt between creditors and debtors.
Easy Carros – The future of car maintenance, insurance & ownership.
BRABOV – Livestock production management platform.
Solidface Technology – Go-to-meeting meets 3D Design software
Lejour – Social platform for weddings
Credit Dream, Inc. – A better loan on your phone
PluriCell Biotech – We sell adult human cells derived from induced pluripotent stem cells Tecnologia – Civic engagement and government participation platform

The ten startups chosen by our evaluators to pitch to our world famous venture capitalist judges (pictured below) at G-Startup Worldwide at GMIC SaoPaulo on August 25.

The ten chosen startups will be accepted to Google Developers Launchpad Program. Then the top 3 chosen by the judges at GMIC Sao Paulo will receive a membership in G-Network, our global, invite only, tech leader community. Third place will receive a $20,000 investment and second place will receive a $30,000 investment. First place will receive a $50,000 investment prize and a trip to Silicon Valley to compete at the G-Startup Worldwide Global Finals in September for an additional $250,000 investment prize! After the finals they will be able to attend a bootcamp at Google’s headquarters!

G-Startup Worldwide is a global startup competition held around the world to find the most innovative, early stage startups, invest over $1,000,000 in them, support them with a global network and enable them to change the world. G-Startup Worldwide will be hosted at each Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) in 2016 including Tel-Aviv, Beijing, Tokyo, Jakarta, Sao Paulo, Bangalore, Taipei, Seoul and San Francisco. G-Startup Worldwide will invest $1 million into 18 companies around the world in 2016. The winner of G-Startup Worldwide will receive a $50,000 investment prize, the second place winner will receive a $30,000 investment prize and the third place winner will receive a $20,000 investment prize. The winner will also receive a free trip to Silicon Valley to compete to become the 2016 G-Startup Worldwide Global Winner. The second place winner overall will receive an additional $120,000 winner and the Global Winner will receive an additional $250,000 investment! Our winners also gain access to the exclusive G-Network, our private network for global tech executive as well as support from our mentor network.
