The G-Startup Worldwide at GMIC Sao Paulo Evaluation Committee of active investors have completed their first round of review of startup applications and we are excited to announce the G-Startup Worldwide at GMIC Sao Paulo Top 50. We received 303 applications from 36 countries for this startup competitionWe’re excited about the dramatic increase (167%) of our applications and the sectors we cover. In addition to the buzz around AI, blockchain, and frontier tech, it’s very impressive to see the innovative technologies coming out of these emerging markets and we expect to see this trend continue. G-Startup at GMIC Sao Paulo is held on September 12, 2017. The first place winner will receive a free trip to Silicon Valley including a round trip flight and 3 nights of stay (value at $1,000) to compete in the G-Startup Worldwide Global Finals. $250,000 investment goes to the Global Winner. In addition, the winner can receive $5,000 Ad credits from Facebook’s FbStart program.
